Uzbekistan and Switzerland discuss cooperation in tourism workforce training

S. Bobokalonov, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Martin Barth, a representative of the Swiss hospitality school SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern.
The discussions focused on enhancing the professional knowledge and skills of tourism industry specialists and educators in line with international standards.
The parties also put forward proposals to organise educational programmes in Uzbekistan with the participation of Swiss experts and provide opportunities for Uzbek professionals to undertake internships abroad.
The cooperation aims to improve the quality of professional training for the tourism sector and facilitate the adoption of international best practices.
