The session featured high-level delegations, including Denis Manturov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation; Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Viktor Karankevich, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus; Ersayin Nagaspaev, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Sherali Kabir, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan; and Goar Barseghyan, Minister of Industry and the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The forum's primary discussion focused on the establishment of new technological hubs and the transformation of Eurasia's industrial landscape. In his address, Jamshid Khodjaev emphasized that under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan is consistently pursuing a policy of industrialization. Currently, industry accounts for 27% of the national GDP, with economic growth projected to reach 6.8% by the end of the current year.
Special emphasis was placed on the achievements of regional cooperation. By the end of 2025, Uzbekistan's trade volume with Central Asian partners and Russia approached $22 billion. At present, 5,500 joint ventures are operational, and over 330 projects valued at more than $47 billion are being implemented across various sectors.
Strategic priorities highlighted during the event include mechanical engineering, the chemical industry, and next-generation energy. The Republic is transitioning from a commodity-based model toward the production of high-value-added goods and the development of sustainable production chains.
For reference, the exhibition will remain open until April 22. Spanning 18,000 square meters, the event showcases solutions from approximately 350 companies representing Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, China, and Kazakhstan. The exposition covers a wide array of technologies, ranging from urban infrastructure and transport to sophisticated industrial equipment and automation systems.
The business program includes 13 sessions dedicated to digitalization, AI, ecology, logistics, energy, and human resource development. Participation is expected from over 1,500 companies and delegates from 30 countries, including Uzbekistan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Belarus, Ghana, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, Canada, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, China, Latvia, Nigeria, the Netherlands, the UAE, the USA, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, and Turkey. In total, more than 1,500 companies will take part in the event.
