No High Levels of Air Pollution Recorded in Tashkent Overnight on 12 October

In the evening of 11 October, air quality in Tashkent was rated “Moderate” according to the international Air Quality Index (AQI). No significant deterioration in air quality was observed overnight, with the AQI remaining between 55 and 83 and within the “Moderate” category.
According to observations recorded on the morning of 12 October, air quality in Tashkent remained at the “Moderate” level according to the AQI. Under national air quality standards, the citywide average concentrations corresponded to the “Green” level for PM2.5 and the “Yellow” level for PM10.
The Special Commission continues to monitor ambient air quality on an ongoing basis.
